Used the Black Carbon helmet and did my first triathlon two weeks ago. Unfortunately, during the last downhill corner of the bike phase, I simply made my last 90 degree turn too fast and was thrown 30' I landed on my left side hitting shoulder first and the head. Fortunately I only sustained a minor concussion, bruised ribs and arm/leg abrasions. My Uvex helmet was cracked in the back but it saved me from further injury. I am definitely sold on wearing helmets and especially the Uvex Boss Race.
