Of course this helmet is utterly adorable and bright and no one would miss you coming down the road with your red helmet with polka dots, but it's also quite practical. It comes with many, many extra foam inserts to get just the right size and the dial in the back is so very convenient. I always struggle to adjust my kids' helmets, but not Nutcase helmets! Seriously, too easy. Also, with anti-pinch, there's no worry about hurting yourself or your little one AND, finally, it fits me (an average size head) and my daughter who is almost 8 years old (another average size head). Seriously, very versatile. I recommend highly. Should last for a very long time! It says I bought the small/medium, but we got the large/x-large.
