Its sizing skews smaller than both its predecessor (the Bellistic) and the more robust Bell Drop, and is squarely aimed at BMX, Super-D and all-mountain riding. I've always liked and used Bell products. So i felt comfortable ordering this helmet without trying it on in a store first. I'm on the upper end of the medium size so when i first tried it on it was tight, but after a few runs it packed out and fit just fine. Used it in my first downhill race and it felt great. I would recommend if you are starting to do more freeride/downhill riding where a X country helmet would not give adequate face protection.
