My head size is almost an 8. This helmet from Nutcase size l/xl has plenty of room with the thin padding front and rear. Plenty of chin strap and remarkably breaths well too. I use it for commuting more than exercising since a roadbike style helmet with more vents will let your head "breath" better. Excellent helmet and not too nerdy looking. It's a keeper for people with Fred Flintstone heads 7 1/2 to 8.
