I have a large dome and have trouble finding helmets and hats that fit properly. I've worn auto-racing and motorcycle helmets for years (I used to sell them as well) and know the product and how it's supposed to fit. My large and longish knob is hard to fit but the unique suspension in this helmet makes it fit right away. A turn of the adjusting wheel and all is comfy and snug as it should be. I've experience no "hot spots", which usually feel like someone drove a spike into my forehead, and no other discomfort. The helmet runs quite cool and I experienced no overheating or other discomfort. I've never understood the wild and just plain silly shapes of most helmets; most look to me like expensive substitutes for a tinfoil hat to repel "the voices" and most seem to offer very little in the way of protection for the occipital region of the skull. This may be a question of perspective, but this helmet feels more like a helmet than some kind of colored beany sitting perched on the top of my head. Buy one; it's a good product.
