I've only worn conventional road bike helmets until I got my Nutcase today. First impression is that I'm extremely pleased and impressed with the quality of this helmet. The components and finish are beautiful. The one-handed locking mechanism is ingenious. So is the adjustment mechanism at the rear. The finish on the shell is gorgeous. Th extra pads that are included insure a perfect fit and are, like everything else, of exceptional quality. I've got it set up now so that I'm very comfortable. It feels much more substantial than any of my road bike helmets. I haven't worn it on a ride yet. The only worry I have is that I'm sure I'll be hotter in it.
