The Bell Ghisallo Road Bike Helmet is constructed with a fusion in-mold microshell, which utilizes the process of bonding the helmet's microshell to its EPS foam layer, rather than forming the two separately and taping them together later, to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. This helmet also utilizes an in-mold bottom wrap to bring a greater level of durability and solidity by bonding microshell material to the lower half of the helmet as well. The Ghisallo features Bell's GPS (Geared Positioning System) fitting method to deliver an easy one-hand adjustment for the maximum in fit and comfort.
The Bell Ghisallo also features internal reinforcement through a composite skeleton that fortifies the helmet in the same way rebar makes concrete stronger, and cam-lock levers that make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. For your comfort, this bicycle helmet includes 17 channeled vents that are specially designed to force cool, fresh air in through the front and around your head, while flushing warm air out of the rear ports. Bell's Ghisallo helmet comes in three sizes, weighs 300 grams, and complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's safety standards for bicycle helmets.

About Bell
More world champions have worn Bell Helmets than all other helmet brands combined. From Grand Prix racing through the Indy 500 to Olympic cycling, Bell helmets have played a vital role in protecting sportsmen and women for nearly 50 years. Bell began as a small auto parts store in a suburb of Los Angeles. Growing under the leadership of Roy Richter, Bell became a leader in safety equipment for auto racing, motorcycling, and then bicycling. His commitment to creating great product through a close connection with the sport, along with his trust of and care for the people who worked for him, turned Bell from a one-man operation into a multi-million dollar enterprise. His legacy lives on today in Bell's commitment to racing, quality and innovation.
With 17 cathedral-like vents and a Fusion In-Mold Microshell and bottom wrap defining its sculptural form, Ghisallo is a Renaissance marriage of art and science. The one-hand, micro-adjustable GPS system dials in a custom fit, making Ghisallo feel as light, comfortable and airy as it looks.
Costumers reviews
I bought this as a replacement for the same model I've been using for about 2-1/2 years. It fits well, has plenty of ventilation, and is easy to adjust. I think the rear size adjustment is much easier to use than the Giro helmets, which is nice if you sometimes wear an earwarmer or skullcap underneath. My one compaint is the downside of having lots of ventilation holes - it makes the wind noise loud, sometimes making you think a car is approaching when it's not. Better safe than sorry, I guess.
